Default Water Pump + Body Work + Mirror

2001 Sebring LXi Sedan 4 Door 2.7 DOHC V6

Multiple issues here.

My Water Pump was diagnosed with a small leak a few months back. I learned that the labor to replace this part was going to be very high (600 to 700) since the whole motor had to be pulled up and so I've postponed such replacement.

Now, due to a literally fender bender, I need a new passenger side fender. I questioned my mechanic and got the impression that the water pump is easily accessible once the fender is removed. Is this really the case? I'd love to kill 2 birds with one stone here.

Lastly, my passenger side mirror (the actual mirror in the housing) feels loose in the vertical direction in the housing. The motor controls it sideways only. Can i push that back until it snaps or can I maybe open the housing and see what got lose in this accident?

Thanks in advance.
