Default 2.8 CRD Radiator replacement instructions/guide

Hi, I have an Voyager 2.8 CRD and it needs a new radiator. Does anyone have a guide on how to do this myself?

In a word, no! I paid someone else to do it. He said it was a pig of a job. Be sure you replace the antifreeze with HOAT type in 50/50 solution. Comma make "Go-5" which is the right one. Almost certainly you'll find the thermostat is jammed open (as it is arranged to do with overheating). While it's all apart, makes sense to test it at least.

BTW, if the 'stat IS jammed open, you can save money by adopting my "Fitting a second thermostat" posting which appears to be helping members to fix poor heater problems etc. currently. This second 'stat costs around £5.
There is another factor -- one member here replaced his original 'stat following all the proper procedures, only to find it started leaking later. Is this a case of "letting sleeping dogs lie"?

Not done radiator
Done thermostat at week end it was stuck open and aux heater constantly on and temperature never gone up more then a quarter
Took me 3 hours remove wiper blades and wiper motor support. remove air filter housing and to have more space around the thermostat remove the hose from air filter to turbo (access to clip around the turbo from under side removed under cover)this will give you plenty of space to work around the thermostat not difficult just time consuming
Hope this helps
