It won't let me watch the video but usually rattling from the gearbox that disappears when pressing the clutch is a sign that the release bearing is on its way out. obviously this requires separating the gearbox from the engine so you may as well think about changing the clutch and pressure plate at the same time if it is the release bearing. If it completely goes then you will lose the ability to change gear so definitely worth getting it looked at sooner than later.
Regards

If you push your foot on the clutch pedal without pressing it down, can you feel any pulsing? If so this could suggest a warped flywheel or damaged friction/pressure plate. Could however still be the release bearing but there isn't really much way of telling without removing the gearbox unfortunately.

I have exactly same noise. 2005 voyager 2.5 crd engine. is it possible that it is gearbox input shaft bearing???? i´v been looking all over the internet and all answers are different- half says that it is Release bearing and half says that it is Input shaft bearing. I think that it is Input Shaft bearing. Its because if i replaced gearbox oil with thicker oil that noise reduced. But Let us know if you find out the real cause of it. Im not able to get my box off yet.

This bearing must be badly damaged..if just dry it wont rattle,,It just gets noisy but no rattle. Thats my opinion,,im not mechanic so i can be totaly wrong.. After changing oil with thicker one i had less rattle but only until oil wormed up and same noise is back. Thats why it must be inside gearbox where the oil is. Release bearing have nothing to do with gearbox oil. But still,,we wont know for sure before boxes not coming off.. im sure we both have same fault.

Do you have Towbar for caravan on your car. Mine has and im sure that this box had a lot of abuse by previous owners.too low RPM on 4th and 5th gear.
