My 2006 is starting to have "issues" - one day about 3 months ago the key-less entry and the tire pressure sensor system stops working. A week later the key-less system starts working again but to this day the tire pressure system is still dodgy. Last night while driving down the motorway my headlights started flickering. I managed to get where I needed to go but I'm at a loss as to what is causing all of this.
I was going to start by doing the following:
1. unhook the battery
2. unplug, inspect, clean if needed then reconnect each connection (one at a time) in the engine compartment then everything under the dash that I can reach.

I figure this will take me most of the day to do. Any pitfalls I need to be aware of? I won't unplug more than one item at a time.

 

It would be great to be able to say these are all related. If they are it's a good bet there's a problem in the IPM/FCM area. That's the fuse box and the silver box bolted to the front of it. The combination have been a historical trouble spot for Chrysler minivans. The FCM is suspect especially relative to the headlights, specifically the poorly designed connection between it and the IPM. Might try to tap/wiggle/shake everything in that area including the wire harness to the bottom of the IPM.
