I own a 2008 grand caravan sxt with 67000km, In the last 3 oil changes that I have done, I have noticed the oil level is very low, like bone dry on the dip stick. I do regular oil changes at about 5000 km but at a 4 to 5 month period, don't do much driving with this vehicle. I have been looking to see if I see any blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, and its clean. I also have it parked in the same place in the garage and no leaks on the floor. I have also looked in the tail pipe to see if there is any residue, and it is also dry. The other thing I was wondering is why the low oil preasure gauge didn't come on. I was wondering if any body has had this problem or knows about it and can help me out before I go to the dealer. Also my warranty is up.
Thank you

I have the exact same issue with my 2008 DGC SXT with 78000 miles. Just noticed it two oil changes ago. Today, the person at the express lube place where we got it changed said that it's because 5W-20 is very thin, and we should check with Chrsyler to see if using a thicker oil would void our warranty. Sounded like a load of bull to me.
I am curious to see if anyone has the solution to this issue.
