Default 99 T&C driver's seat doesn't move backwards

All the other power seat settings work fine. The seat DOES move forward. When the switch is engaged to move the seat back, there is an audible click, followed by another click, about 15 seconds later.

On top of that, my husband tried to unhook ..something (I hate when he doesn't just take it to a mechanic!) under the seat and now the radio doesn't work either.

He has checked the fuse box and all the fuses are fine.

Is there anyway to correct both of these issues?

Thanks in advance for your time!
