My first GV was fixed seating. My second GV has Stow n Go. I wouldn't be without it, not just for the convenience of always having the seats available, but when the seats are upright, the amount of extra storage space under the floor is tremendous.

She's not fussed about the stow and go, it was more me that wanted them, so we'll look at non stow and go too.

Why, quick 'n easy and don't even see them versus takes ages, and inconvenient ? Who has to lump them in and out and store them somewhere ?

We just got a "stow & go" 2007 GV a couple of months ago to replace our 2001 CRD.

Used the stow & go for the first time last weekend... absolutely brilliant !!

Whoever designed that system needs a pat on the back.... as opposed to the idiot who designed the handbrake and the cartridge paper oil filter on the early CRD engines... that guy needs shooting

Not yet, there's one on eBay just now, 57 plate, 2250 or make an offer. No reverse gear.
I've emailed a place in Glasgow asking worse case scenario cost wise and I'm going to talk to a guy locally that's just had work done to his voyager auto which was through Edinburgh way.
I'm keen, everyone thinks I'm mad to consider it though.

Scratch that, its sold.

Yes when Automatics start to give problems no one wants to know, except garages rubbing their hands. But thing is it might be just the change levers, or a solenoid, or oil filter blockage. One of those American programs on sky were doing a test on the road with a 500hp Auto and they lost forward drive. Turned out to be the change mechanism had come loose from its bracket. Good hunting anyway.

Wee update, the OH eventually decided we didn't need a big car. In her defence, I've an old 4x4 and an old Passat so the GV would have meant we were spending a lot on fuel and tax every year.

So she bought a Nissan Note instead.

In response to this, I've decided to get rid of mines and buy a GV anyway. One gone, one provisionally gone but needed till I get my replacement.

So the search continues.....

Well I've rushed in anyway, after all that.

56 plate Limited in black, 105k, FSH, getting the cam belt done before I pick it up.

Only a 650 mile round trip to uplift.
