Can the struts omn a 98 T&C be changed without pulling the springs off too?

No. The entire assembly is removed from the vehicle, then placed in a spring compression "jig" for disassembly. The process is reversed using a new strut.

I feel your pain! The labor far exceeds the cost of the struts, but it's necessary.

You could buy McPherson strut compressors and save the labor. Don't forget to get a new strut bearing.

And make sure you've got all your tools and supplies. Struts should always be replaced in pairs. You should never replace only one chrysler strut or shock for safety reasons.

Default Why not just one today...

and the other in two weeks. It sounds like it could take some time.

Thanks
