Default Clutch Issues

Hello ladies and gents, i have a 2002 U.K build 2.4 petrol Voyager SE with manual gearbox.
My problem happens to be a worn release bearing that needs replacing on the clutch assembly.
The info i am looking for is whether or not i need to remove the engine and gearbox in a complete unit or is there enough room by the wheel arch to remove the gearbox only ?

Many thanks in advance.
