Crd owners what is highest speed you have done

Pretty sure if you go onto the M8 at JCN3/Livi there's a long downhill straight heading West towards the Bathgate cut off.

As much as I'm all in favour of this, it's a bit pointless unless you know how accurate your speedo is.
If you have a smart phone then you can get a free GPS app that gives a speed reading and it's quite accurate.

Good citizen as I am I paid the fine already, and watching the bad state of the roads in England I'm certain England can use the money

We have had our 2003 gv to 125mph on the a1m we had just come out of the average speed cameras went to overtake a Subaru Impreza he didn't like the fact that a people carrier was trying to overtake him so he put his foot down, so kept foot planted he bottled it at around 110mph, just to put a bit of distance between us kept foot planted for another quarter mile or so looks in mirror and black bmw behind so pulls into lane 2 and throttles off to let it pass, just as it passes us it swerves in front of us cutting us up and jabs breaks on down to 70 mph then the back window lights up like a Christmas tree saying police follow me, gutted we follow him and pull into hard shoulder where he tells me that it wasn't me he wanted but the Subaru but the Subaru bottled it and because I over took him he had no choice but to pull me my avarage speed over 2.23 miles was 95.6mph and highest speed was 125mph so thank you very much for my 3 points and £100.00 fine officer still if I had Been doing 0.4 mph then it would of been court summons

100 pound fine? The British police is much kinder than the Dutch!
Some time ago I overtook a row of cars behind a farmers truck driving like 40 km/h where 80 km/h (50 miles/h) was allowed, that was on a 2 lane country road.
I wanted to pass quickly so i would get off the approaching lane asap and hit briefly 120 km/h (75miles/h)
Unortunatly there was a camera control on that exact spot
I got a € 495,- fine.... (that is 380 pound....)
