I am going to attempt cleaning with an egr cleaner spray first. I am going to Haggerston Castle this weekend 170miles return trip. I will spray the cleaner just when leaving as it says to go for a good drive after. If that doesnt work will try removing it

Question is where do you spray it in the air intake pipe? Into the box with filter removed or disconnect pipe after filter box

spray it in the air intake before the MAF censor make , mine says get engine warm , leave idle and spray into air intake at one second intervals , keep spraying until can is empty, that's online on wynns site , I am using wynns EGR3

My question is where do i disconnect the pipe to spray into

I am assuming air intake is that pipe next to the engine oil filler cap

look to the left hand side you have the air box , connected to that you have the MAF sensor , disconnect it where it joins the air box and spray it in there so you are spraying it onto the MAF sensor first then through into the air intake

see picture sorry about the size , first time I have done this

I had to replace mine a while ago, easy job, right up front. It was really rusted bad, so I just replaced it.
You can remove it and clean it, brake or carb cleaner should do it.

no mate it looks like you have to remove the wipers and the wiper motor housing etc to get down the back of the engine
