Default Hesitation and Backfire, No codes

Hello all! I have a 2001 T&C (3.3) that idles fine but hesitates and backfires on acceleration. I have used fuel injector cleaner and fuel system de-icer. My air cleaner is practically new. I am getting no codes at all. I did have a battery light for a brief time the other day. Would a dying battery cause my problems? Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Battery? Could be. Backfire out the intake? It's running lean. Try checking fuel pressure. Should see 55 psi. You can sign out a gauge from most parts stores but you'll need adapters to connect it if there's not a test port on the fuel rail.

This is exactly what mine did, read the saga here.

With the engine running reach around the back and give the wiring a bit of a pull and tug and see if it suddenly runs bad.
