Hot Blower Motor Resistor
Good Morning All, The front blower motor resistor on my 2001 T&C stopped working. After researching I replaced the blower motor resistor which had overheated and part of the plastic had melted at one of the connections. After replacement, the fan worked fine on all speeds but I soon noticed a burning smell. The resistor is hot to the touch. Could this be a fan motor issue? Thanks!!

Late reply,
I was experiencing the same issue with my 2001 T&C, I replaced the resistor and the metal part was burning up hot! so I discovered that by moving the blower with a stick or even by hand would make the blower work again, meaning that the blower will get stuck and you are right Goggs bearing needs lubrication or else you will be spending money on another blower resistor.
