Default ignition recall 2008 T & C

How long did you wait or still waiting to have this recall repaired by your dealer? Did you get "parts not available yet" for months and month??? For over a year, I finally get a call "the parts are in" from my dealer. Take my van in for the repair to get "the parts don't fit, need to reorder" waiting another week, notified again, "your parts are in" Another appointment on Wednesday, we will see. LOL

Hi kf1331,
I'm sorry to hear about this frustrating experience. Please keep us posted on the final outcome and let me know if there's anything I can do to be of assistance. We so appreciate your patience and understanding.

Default Recall finally done. BUT

The new FOBS feels very snug in the ignition hole. Everything seems ok, BUT
Driving home from the dealership, my wife and I felt nauseous and light headed, half way through our 40 minute drive home. We stopped at a shopping center parking lot, for 20 minutes, till I felt better to continue home. My wife still continued feeling sick, gagging a few times almost throwing up as i drove. We have driven the same route every 3 months getting oil changes etc since 2008. Just a coincidence, not sure. Will take a road trip to see what happens later this week. A/C running as usual, but shut it off after 18 minutes and opened all the windows. We wasn't aware of any strange odors or anything different. Will update later.

you can program new keys for your van if you have 2 working keys/fobics
it's called self programing
