Default Key fob/ central locking issues

hi all,

i had a dead battery yesterday stupid left the side lights on in a rush to get in to work came out and she was dead! got a jump start off a friend and drove home no issues.

went to lock the car and central locking did not work? So I have changed the battery in the remote, disconnected the car battery and re connected and removed the IOD fuse all have not worked?

The central lockong king seems to work on all
the internal buttons just not the key fob, any ideas please? Thanks

Take a look at your owners manual to see if there are instructions for programming a key fob. You may need one functional fob to start the process. If you do not have a functional fob, you will probably have to have yours reprogrammed at a dealership. It will be expensive. If you go that route, get another fob before you go and have both of them programmed at the same time. You can find them on eBay. In future, you will be able to use one functional fob to program another. Be advised that when going through the programming process, you start the process with one fob then you finish it by programming BOTH the old and the new fobs. If you don't do both fobs, the old one won't work afterwards.
