Default Odometer and Shift Indicater Lights

Hey all...

Tried to search, couldn't find answer....

I just bought a 2002 Voyager base van, 2.4, 119K, bad trans, so I just installed rebuilt 41TE tranny....

1. Starts ok/good when cold, runs good forever, until I shut it down, then NO START... seems like there's a fuel leak-down issue. Won't start until cold again. I'll test fuel pressure tomorrow...

But my head-scratcher is:

2. Odo and shift lights either STAY or flicker and COME BACK ON after key is removed?... You can hear a clicking like a relay, but NOT in the fuse panel under the hood. I tried to remove each relay individually and NONE of them affect odo and shift lights. I tried to hold down TRIP button for 20-30 sec either with key out, or key on with NOTHING HAPPENING... No codes, no funky light show, NO NOTHING!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
