Default Passengers cabin calefaction by fuel burning system

Hi guys, this is the first time I write in the forum.
I have a Voyager 2.8 CRD from 2008.
My voyager has a calefaction system that burns fuel to heat the passenger cabin while the engine is running.
By default it doesn´t work when the contact key is switched off.
I would like to know if there would be any possibility to make that it works when the key contact is switched off(Like a camping calefaction system).

Thanks in advance..

Hi
The auxillary diesel cabin heater helps the cooling system to warm up quickly in cold weather so has to have the engine running to circulate the coolant,so the answer is no. Sometimes when the ignition is turned off the heater can be heard (hum/whistle) but its only shutting itself down. Camper vans, ambulances and minibuses use a similar system that is totally independant of the cooling/heater system and blow hot air through separate vents.
Hope this helps
Regards John.
