Problems Removing UK Headlamp Unit
Hi,
I have a UK spec 2005 Chrysler Grand Voyager and am trying to replace the headlamp bulb. This should be an easy job, but I'm going crazy trying to get the headlamp unit out.
I've removed the three bolts at the top and the whole unit is lose... great.
However, I cant manipulate the unit out. When I compare to all the US based how too's on Youtube, the unit in the UK spec appears to be different, in that there is a protrusion on the inner side of the unit towards the radiator that stops you pulling the unit out forward.
There must be someway to manipulate it out.
Can anybody with a UK Spec vehicle advise how to do it ?
Many thanks

yeah they can be a bugger. Remove the bolt and plastic thingy that secure the front bumper/grill ( near the headlight bolts) and then flex the bumper out of the way to get the clearance to remove the headlight unit.
It can be really awkward.....but then they just come out....!
I have struggled for 10 or 15 mins in the rain and then it just comes out.......much easier to put back in!
