Programming Auto Door Lock Feature 99 T&C
I have a 99 Town and Country and several months ago someone was wonderful enough to tell me how to disable my automatic door locking feature because the motor had gone out and it was making a horrible noise every time I reached 15 mph. Anyway, I've finally been able to replace the bad motor and now I would like to re-enable the automatic door locking feature. Does anyone know how to do that? All I remember was that it was something to do with locking the doors and turning the ignition switch a certain number of times. I sure hope someone knows how to re-enable this feature - as I really do like it for safety. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

RE: Programming Auto Door Lock Feature 99 T&C
Here, follow this procedure
1.) Close all doors
2.)Place key in ingintion and turn key between OFF and ON position for a total of four times ending in the OFF position (do not start the car)
3.) Press the drivers side power door lock button to lock the doors
you should hear a single chime when you finish programming it.
They really did make this more confusin than it had to be but whatever
