Default question

on a 1998 Town and Country. Is there a module or relay that would keep it from running at certain times. Sometimes it will start and die three or four times, then nothing.

You'll need to identify your car more clearly...And describe the symptoms more clearly like cuts out under acceleration, problem starting, etc...

- if yours was a 2004 + I'd say its SKIM / SKREEM immobilizer module protection
- if yours was a 1998 + I'd say its immobilizer module protection
- do you have a flashing or other light that indicates a fault in the immobilizer system ?

It will start, die three or four times. Then there is no clicking or anything. The next morning, it starts and runs fine. Not an all the time thing.

1998 Town and Country with the 3. something flex fuel engine. Intermittently starts and dies several times, then nothing. The next day, it starts and runs fine. The cluster doesn't light up. Could it be the immobilizer module protection and how do I get it fixed?

No. And there is no clicking or anything when the key is turned. I'm about ready to junk it!

bang the top of the cluster see if it will wake the cluster up its more then likely bad solder joints on the cluster it will kill the commutation and not allow things to talk to each other.
