Default switch ?

iv just got a 2003 grand voyager and have found a switch in the drivers foot well that doesn't semm to do anything any suggestions please

Looks aftermarket. Maybe for some accessory or could be a backyard fix to bypass something that failed. Any wires attached? What is the color ID of the wires?

Think it might be an immobalizer that has been disabled

An aftermarket alarm disable switch? Sounds likely from the location of it.
