Okay, so this is the first time I have worked on a car's electrics (though I am an aircraft electrician by trade), so it shouldn't be too hard... Right?

So basically right now my Mrs' car has 6 shoddy speakers, and a messed up head unit. So my idea is to change it all up and replace them all with this set up:


Pioneer DEH-X6800BT [HEAD UNIT] (with adapter for the T&C's weird shaped "hole")
2 x Pioneer TS-A1375R 5.25" 3 ways [DASH]
2 x Pioneer TS-A6996R 6"x9" 5 ways [FRONT DOORS]
2 x Pioneer TS-A6976R 6"x9" 3 ways [REAR DOORS]
1 x Pyle PLAM1200 1200w 2 channel [For the DASH]
1 x Pyle PLAM1600 1600 Watts 4 Channel [FRONT/REAR'S]
1 x Pyle PLAM40 install kit.

4 Ohm impedance for all of the above!

Can you guys give me any tips/tricks or your views on this set up?
I've found if I got a single 6 channel amp it was a hell of a lot more expensive than these 2 (however if you can recommend ANYTHING, you'd be awesome!!)
