Default Town and Country AC issue?

I have a 2010 T & C . A few days ago my wife says that there is water dripping into the cab on the front passenger side. sure enough, it was. I took the van to my mechanic and he said that the drain was most likely clogged. He kept the van for most of the day and said he couldn't find the drain in the box. The car sits a few days and when I next drove it, there was a sound that went with the dripping, right behind the glove compartment. Kind of a grinding sound. my question is, does this sound like a compressor issue or something else? the air still blows cold.
Thanks

I just spoke with my local repair shop and he says the sound may be water getting into the blower motor in the evaporator box. He also said he was not able to find the drain on the box when he last looked at it. Does anyone know where this drain is?
Thanks again

common sense the drain is outside of the van at the lowest point of the HVAC box that is inside. The drain will be sticking out of the vans fire wall.

That makes sense to me, thanks for that. Do you think that the sound is caused by the blower motor and too much water because of the draining issue? Or does this sound like a different problem?

Thanks again!

On the 2008 and up vans the drain goes thru the floor, see this link for images showing where the drain is located inside the van. I have read that the drain is not visible from beneath the van, but I have not confirmed that.
