Default Water Pump Question

Hello Gentlemen and lady people

Have reached the point where the water pump on my 3.3 petrol Grand Voyager needs to be replaced.

Ordered a new one from fleabay and it has turned up complete with rubber O ring (presumably to fit into the nicely machined groove on the inside of said water pump), but with no gasket.

Now this means one of two things... either the pump is designed to be fitted without a gasket (unlike any other water pump I have dealt with) or the supplier has left it out of the package on purpose... knowing that we can not get water pump gaskets seperate from the water pumps in this country... or else the pump is supposed to fitted using RTV instead of a gasket...

Thoughts?
