Default What a Shocker!!!

Hiya guys...

I've just bought this rear self leveller shock for my 56 plate Grand Voyager 2.8L Limited XS as a "Just in case" as they are close to £300 each. This is a brand new one as you can see. My question is... Should I be able to push down on the unit and make it depress like I can do with a normal shock? Because I can't with this one. It's a massive shock and the correct part for the XS as they come with self levelling as standard. I paid just £60 for it.👍

Cheers mate👍

Begs the question on how to install the thing when time comes! Unless you have to use a jack to compress it or it might just slot into the guide bolts?😳

Just jack the car and let the axle hang down, the shocks are then safe to remove.
Remove the bottom bolt then the top.
Install top bolt first, then bottom bolt, then lower car and apply torque.
(Well thats what i did anyway!)
