Default 1996 Cirrus

I have this 96 Cirrus in my garage and it has a no start but a healthy crank with no spark. I was not sure what at fisrt it is, but I am thinking now that it is a crank shaft position sensor. If anyone can tell me different or how to test them, please let me know.

Thanks

Ernie

Default RE: 1996 Cirrus

i used to test them by using an older analog VOM and hook up 1 lead to ecah connection then wave a magnet back and forth ,it should make the needle move up and down indicating there is a magnetic field built up and droped. I will wait to see if a real pro reponses as well.
