i have a 97 chrysler cirrus, it was a gift, when i recieved it it wasn't running, ended up being a crankshaft position sensor. It has been sitting almost a year, indoors. I changed all the fluids, and it has been running since, but there is steam coming out of the exhaust, i thought head gasket or a cracked block, but no coolant in the oil or vice versa, and no shavings in the oil. Could this be just a little water in the fuel lines??? or some condensation in the exhaust even??? After about 4-5 mins, the exhaust returns to normal.
I was also wondering if there is an easy way to ccheck for oil pressure without taking the engine apart to check the oil pump???
oh, it a '97 cirrus lx 2.5 V6, and has just under 140000km's, and has perfect maintenance records.
