Default 1999 cirrus

Had the car for 4 yrs. & alway's ran good.Recently it won't start at times.Be running fine then next day won't start then wait a day & it'll start.Got fuel & spark. No check engine light. When it does decide to start it run's like normal,no misfires etc.Does this car have a distributor cap?Coil pack/packs?Could this be wire related?Happened this a.m. after night of rain but it has happened with no rain.Any suggestions? Not a mechanic by any means & don't want to throw parts in with no fix. Thanks

Found the cap.Looks like it's gonna take a lot of removal to even get to it & the back plug wires.Hoping mechanic can find/fix issue cause it ain't me.

It looks a lot worse than it actually is.

The actual distributor itself could be going on you? I would have said the cap would be the issue but you get the same problem during dry weather. I'd be looking at that part pretty closely.

Definitely a moisture prob.Get rainy/foggy weather & no go.Soon as it dry's out go.Back to cap & wires & will see what happen's.Thanks for replies.
