Long story short, I broke the VTSS device off the lock cylinder in my passenger side door with a slimjim after leaving my keys in my car. I get an alarm and a 3 second run before engine kill. I have tried lock-unlock, and cross connecting the wires on the VTSS. The white piece of plastic which holds the VTSS onto the end of the lock cylinder is broken, but the VTSS is still okay. Is there someway I can reset the alarm system to stop killing my engine? I went to a junkyard and grabbed another lock cylinder then tried connecting it's VTSS to my cables in the door; however, it was to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
