My 97 Breeze Check Engine light came on recently and hasn't turned off. I did a key dance and the 'Check Engine' flashed a sequence of times and from that I gathered 12, 21, 55. Now I know next to nothing about cars, but from what I found on the internet 12 and 55 mean nothing and 21 could be the oxygen sensor. Could anyone tell me what is wrong with my car please?
It runs fine and has no odd sounds coming from the engine, from what I can tell!
Thanks You in advance

So what should I do? Take it to a local garage and have them look at it? Or is there something I can to find out the p-codes myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated b/c this is my only means of transportation to and from work. It's making me kind of nervous driving around with the 'Check Engine" light on all the time
Thanks guys
visit an auto parts store like advance auto or auto zone they will scan it for free

The light mysteriously turned off after about 10 days. So I would assume that whatever it was it wasn't serious or else the light would still be on. However gas consumption seems a little high, which I would attribute to a faulty O2 sensor.
