Well, yes, the Stormproof car cover is manufactured to be sun resistant and waterproof, yet breathable. It can withstand a significant rain storm with very little, to no water penetration. Keep in mind that even our most water resistant fabric will allow some water through. If a car cover were truly waterproof, it would not allow the trapped vapor undermeath the vehicle to evaporate through, causing rust and damage.
