Default 05 Pacifica vent/blower problem

About a year ago after about an hour or so into a roadtrip, cold air stopped blowing from the vents of our 2005 Pacifica. If you turned off the A/C system for about 10-15 minutes, then you could again get cold air for a bit, and then repeat the process. We took it to our dealer for repair and they had the car for about two weeks to test and repair it. They hooked it up and let it run for about an hour in the shop, as well as drove it around town for about an hour, and couldn't get the problem to manifest itself. We took the car back, and went on another 3-hour trip, and an hour or so into the trip, the problem repeated. Very unpleasant in the summer. Now, the same thing happens with the heat - although only once you're an hour/two into a drive. The car is at the shop now (a different Chrysler dealer) who also cannot find a problem. We have an extended warranty with $100 deductible, but unless they identify a problem, we aren't eligible for that program and have to pay by the hour. We want to go a cross country road trip this summer, but won't unless it gets fixed.

might want to ask if there is a TSB out for the Pac.
