Default 2004 Chrysler Pacifica front bumper fell off

I have 2oo4 chrysler pacifica and the front lower bumper fell off while driving on Q.E.W in Burlington Area. I had never hit anything but front lower bumper had fallen out. I was going to ask my insurance company to pay for it but insurance company said that it was not an accident so they can't do anything. I think this is certainly a defect. How should I prove it? and How to do it?

The same thing happened to me driving on the NYS thruway. I also know two other Pacifica owners who had the same thing happened to them. You would think that there was something that Chrysler would do to rectify this obvious defect.

Default Me too

I just had the front cradel replaced (rusted), drove to pick up my child at school and bumper fell off on freeway. Took it back to dealer...not their problem. I will be looking for a new car next year. I will not be looking at Chrysler.
