I have a 2005 Chrysler Voyager 2.5 and it cut out repeatedly when driving, mostly when turning left.
Eventually took it to a Chrysler garage and the Mercedes engineer spotted the problem straight away.
There is a (forgive the un technichal terms) gizmo that measures the air / fuel ratio and due to a fault in it when I turned left, or perhaps after a hard jolt, it loosened the housing and sucked more air which told the computer there was lean mix which cut the engine out.
Of all the spares that the Mercedes garage holds, they have plenty of these gizmos which maked me think that it is a common fault.
