Default 2001 Chrysler Voyager - Anyone changed a PCM in one of these?

I want to hear from someone that has successfully changed a PCM in there 01 Voyager.

Did the part numbers match with old and the new PCM or are they all different?

I have a fault code P0601 and cannot find a matching part number PCM at the wreckers anywhere!

The key is just a key, I don't think there are any electronics in it. The remote locking is seperate from the key.

Do the part numbers need to match on the PCM, can I use a PCM from a slightly later model?

Not sure about Australia nor the Voyager but I was able to replace my PCM on my 2001 Sebring convertible with the grey SKIM key by using a service on eBay. For around US$200 they shipped you a replacement after you gave them the VIN and mileage of the car. The price included return shipping to send back the old one. All in all, it was very satisfactory. Mine showed the same error code, something about a failed checksum as I recall.

it may look like a regular key but if its grey then it is a sentry key and does have computer chip in it
