If the post above doesn't resolve the issue look into the TSB listed below:

08-007-08 REV. A

SUBJECT:
No Engine Crank Or No Engine Start Due To Electronic Lockup Of The WCM / SKREEM

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves the replacement of the Wireless Control Module (WCM), and if
equipped, the replacement of the Electric Steering Column Lock (ELV). The WCM is also referred to as the Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (SKREEM).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer will experience a no engine crank AND a no engine start condition. Also, the remote keyless entry (RKE) system will not operate. This condition may be due to an electrostatic discharge (ESD) from the ignition key into the Wireless Control Module
(WCM), causing the WCM to electronically lockup. This condition may occur more
frequently in dry and/or cold weather conditions where a sufficient electrostatic charge is more easily produced. This condition is corrected by the replacement of the WCM.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or before May 05, 2008

You may also want to check to see if your vehicle is involved with

Customer Satisfaction Notification F15

Reprogram Wireless Control Module

The software programmed into the Wireless Control Module (WCM) on about 22,300 of the above vehicles may prevent the vehicle from starting under certain conditions.
Models

Subject
The WCM control module must be reprogrammed.

You may access the self-service recall site on the internet to check on your vehicle's involvement in any future recalls that are published. Simply go to your brand website Owners page:: http://www.Chrysler.com/en/owners and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) where appropriate.

The "casing" is the whole headlight, so the answer to your question is "yes". If the fender is bent, there's a good chance the replacement headlight won't fit properly, so that may need to be addressed.
If the lens is broken, water will get in there and probably ruin the bulb, so that light is not going to be functional for long.

Next time you have a question that is totally unrelated to the topic of a thread, start a new thread rather than re-opening an old thread talking about something else entirely.

The DRL's (daytime running lamps) are not activated on U.S. model vehicles. Your local Canadian dealer will have to perform a software update to activate this feature.

They were a Canada only feature in '06, call a local dealer and ask if it's something that can be reprogrammed, or what it might take to convert them. Chances are pretty good they've run into it before.
