Default 300m with speed proportional steering

Back after 2 years , and many changes on my M .

Ok, question : My 300M do not have speed proportional steering , can I update it without changing the BCM , just wire it and change the steering?

European Market , year 2000 , BCM 2001 from USA .

Ok , but I changed the BCM from 2000 to 2001 model from a USA donor , when i test it with DRBIII , the DRB assumes that the BCM have Speed pro , is generic information or the DRB III only show what realy is part of the car ?

The Solenoid on the Speed pro can be wired with a variable resistor ? like Fiat have a switch that change from highway to city and change the steering assist.

That info in the 2001 BCM is the result of configuration data from the donor. I suppose if you use the donor PCM and the pigtail wiring is there under your hood it could be done. However, that PCM from the donor is probably SKIM enabled as is yours. That's where you run into issues. It's just a lot of trouble and money for something of such minimal value. Yeah when the SKIM came along it block people from doing little adventures like what you're talking about. Kinda sad really. You can't even swap modules from like vehicles nowadays without DTCs everywhere IF they even work.

Ok, but the Body Diagnostic Procedures Manual says that the BCM supplies vehicle with various vehicle functions and Speed proportional steering is one of many , and do not mention that this option is controled by the PCM , the only information from the PCM that can interfer with Sped Pro is vehicle Speed , infact the steering effort is adjusted by the vehicle speed , and all the wires to the speed pro solenoid came from the Junction Block , and Direct from the BCM to Junction Block, whe can find it on internal pin or CAV 3 - Circuit S76 Speed pro steering Solenoid (-) and CAV 4 -Circuit S77 Speed pro steering solenoid (+) -Junction Block , and Juncton Block C10 Gray 13 way connector on CAV 8 and CAV 10 , when I use the DRBIII to test the speed pro solenoid, displays the message Denied not, not present i presume that is messing some wire that send voltage to the BCM , I have to check it first
