sorry dont know if this is the right section to post in but im looking to find what brand of scanner would be able to read live data on a 1995 2.5 v6 cirrus, some brands i looked into says they dont cover any year 2.5 cirrus, i know a snap on modius or comparable may do it but im not looking to spend that much for i only do side work on cars because im a full time power equipt mech and diesel mech. any help is appericated

If memory serves, That is still PRE-OBD, Which pretty much eliminates ANY universal OBD2 code scanner.
You may still be able to perform the "KEY-DANCE" method.....
Starting with the ignition key off.......ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON......and count the flashes from the C/E lamp...... a series of flashes, followed by a pause, then a second series of flashes.
ie---- one flash, pause, 2 flashes would indicate a 12 ......2 , pause, 3 would indicate 23 and so on... Just for reference.....12,55,and 88 are to be disregarded.

sorry what i meant was a scanner that will allow me to view data streams while running like checking injector rates and other sensors, etc..
i've already used a mac scanner i have that reads obd1 and 2 but wont allow data stream to be viewed on obd1, what weird is this car has an obd1 ecm system with obd2 emmisions system and obd2 data link connector. im just looking for something that will show me live data while engine running. thanks again
look online they are all over gonna pay 200 or more for one of the cheap ones
