Default Need help with 1996 breeze tranny

My son bought a 96 breeze, tranny would shift from first to second, motor rev high and downshift and stay in limp mode.
We bought a tranny out of a running car that was getting junked, but tranny worked great.
Put it in our car but it will not shift at all. Not sure what problem is, at least tranny we had tried shifting but thgis 1 does not. Any ideas?
any help greatly appreciated

I also need to add that i had trouble plugging in the input sensor, so i unbolted the electronic bos above it to get to it, found a bent pin in sensoer and reapaired it, i wired box close to where it was to test drive and still no shift.
Is it possible it needs to be bolted down for grounding purpose?

sorry about all the typos in last post, was in hurry at that time.
No suggestions have been received as of yet. Guess I will change the shift control module and see if that is where problem is.
