Default Oil Filter MO-899, looking for a TALL equal.

The Mopar MO-899 is a SHORT filter.
Anybody know of a TALL equivalent oil filter that will fit?
22 mm threads

Actually a TALL filter would be easier to install/ remove in my car.
Plus the extra filtering capacity.

Any problems changing from short to tall?
Change in oil pressure/ anything detrimental?

Thanks...

If you find one and install it, you may need to add about a half quart of oil to bring your oil level up to full on the dipstick.

Aside from the mentioned added capacity....It is "TUCKED" inside its little "CUTOUT" to protect it from road debris.....The added length will leave it open to anything that may want to smack into it.

The engineerd filter for the car works just fine, and there is NO BENEFIT that can be justified by deviating from what the application calls for.

So true about the filter being "tucked" away under the engine.
I fact so "tucked", I had a little hard time getting it loose.
What kinda of filter wrench do you use?

I was going to use the K&N HP-2010 as a replacement, not only for the upgrade, but for the wrench fitting built into the top of the filter.

Gods honest Truth????? An Old Serpentine belt and a Pair of slip Joint Pliers. It has yet to fail me on anything Ive worked on.

"Hook" it around the filter, and wind it up , Just like you would a Can of HAM. Once the slack is taken up, it makes MUCH more Torque than a Filter wrench, and it was really Cheap.
