Default my newly acquired 89 reliant-k

Hi All!

Here's the deal..just acquired a 1989 Reliant-K from my late uncle. This car started up easy every time but would stumble and jerk when holding it at a set speed. I had the plugs, wires, cap and roter changed out and thought the car seems a bit better since this but it still stumbles at a holding speed but not asoften. The idle control valve was gunked up and was cleaned up real good, but thinking this was causing the stumble dosen't seem to be the case. Anything else i should look at? Cat. Converter maybe? Any help really appreciated.

Default RE: my newly acquired 89 reliant-k

I found the fuel filter..underneath by tank. Car runs much better now anyways. I'm not used to a car forum where no one replies within a week, especially with a car like this. Oh well maybe it's not as popular as I thought it was.

You can also try putting an additive fuel injector cleaner into a tank of gas for you as it can have very good effects like Fuel Economy, Emissions, Peak Engine Performance. Try it out.
