Cool 04 Chrysler Crossfire

Hello all. Im Paul, new to the forum. I recently bought an 04 Crossfire. First I would like to say that I just absolutely love this car. I had a turn signal issue that im sure many of you with Crossfires have had. I read many posts about this problem that were very helpful to me. Thanks for all of the great advice. One member had posted that he fixed the turn signal socket with a piece of wire. Good idea. But I took it a step further. I removed shirt clips from the end of 2 ball point pens. I ground the pieces down and soldered them to the turn signal bulb sockets. The convex side of the clip is the perfect amount of area to make contact in the headlamp housing. The metal is pretty stiff and wont break if bulb replacement is required. The way I fixed the sockets just seemed to me to be a more permanent temporary solution. I wanted to say thanks for steering me in the right direction, and hope that my post as well can help someone out in the future.
