Default key in ingnition, car not starting

I have a 2009 Town & Country Touring with about 41,000 miles. A couple of days ago, put key in ignition and car would not start. Waited a few moments, tried again and car started. Same thing happed again the next day about 2 times. By the third day, put key in ignition and car would not start at all. Has anyone had this problema and how was it resolved?

Two things I want you to try....

Are there any warning messages in the evic window...Anything to the effect of INVALID or WRONG KEY???. Your security Lamp is a SINGLE RED DOT . Which should illuminate with the key on...What does it do when you attemp to start?

Over the next few Days, Try a spare Key.....and see if that helps.... It is possible your ignition key has taken one to many blows to the head....

Also possible is a starter failure, but a 2year old car, with 41K, doesnt sound normal for that just yet.

If You wanted Dealership Service, You wouldnt Go To "Discount Quik Lube" , So why did you Walk into a dealership Expecting QUIK LUBE PRICING????

Ma'am, It costs so much money, because ...I CAN, And you CANNOT, And It matters Not to Me, Because I HAVE A RIDE HOME.
3/36 Does not mean 3 years and a day, or 36,001

Thanks for the reply. There are no messages in the evic window. Plus, nothing happens when I attempt to start the car. I briefly will see my mileage number but that is it.
