Default :-( problem

hey everyone im new to this forum thing but was told it may be of great help. im nhaving an issue with my2004 sebring. bare with me its a long story. i bought a new battery for the car because it seemed the old one was no longer good..car started again once i installed the new batt. then 3 days later im working on it with the radio on then the radio cuts out on me...30 mins later the radio comes back on but the car doesnt start, making a clicking sound. this is the same thing that happened with the original battery. i did the test of removing the positive coil from battery to see if car would stay on the first time and it did which lead me to believe it wasnt the alternator, but now im just confused as to what it may be, especially since things cut on and off as they please. if you can help i would surely appreciate and need it.
