Default 1993 chrysler new yorker fifth avenue belt tentioner broke

where is the tentioner located I got this car with it broke off. I was thinking it was under the alt.You cant see under their very good and I have not pulled it off to see yet. It is the one with a spring in it which is all taken apart and I cant see where it was located. Is this car worth the effort to fix it up. It starts but dies I figured bit was because the electrical system was out of order with the belt being off. Picture of the front of the motor a V6 3.8 would really help. I know go buy a manual hey I am cheep what can I say. I also9 have a Dodge Stealth with 250000 Miles that I keep runing strong I get my money out of a good car
