New ride

Well i picked up a nice fixer upper a 1988 dodge shelby daytona turbo 2 car for a steal. Now i just gotta get it runing and make her pretty again. I am gonna try and make a website or something to post my progress and pics on so you can see what i am doing and maybe if others find a ride they can get some info from it. As for now i drove it home from pontiac MI. Not easy with construction and the fact that the 5 speed tranny only had 1st 4th and 5th gears. I was told it was a cable but i tried to fix it in a parking lot and it wasnt. Also when the turbo spools up and pegs it wants to backfire. Exhaust is missing from under the driver seat back rusted out and a ding in the front left fender (hinders hood opening but not too bad). Interior is okay for a car that old. Im taking it in to work this weekend hopefully to get the trans fixed. I know a guy...lol As the body work goes while its their i will see if my body guy can fix the fender if not i know a junkyard that i can get one dirt cheap from. Well i will link the page on a later post when i have one...
