8 door station wagon?

I like old cars, but am truely a novice. Yesterday I noticed what would be about a 60-62 Chrysler station wagon. It had four doors on each side.. I suspect this was a custom job done years ago? Or was it possible to special order such a creature for a special job? Going by the old paint, the work or adaptation was done a long time ago, if it wasn't a special order. Thanks in advance.
