Default What would be the best way to get the value of a 63 Chrysler Wagon?

Hi all....My Dad still has his fathers 1963 Chrysler wagon (not sure what model, looks like a Newport). It has been garaged for years and is in imaculate condition. What would be the best way to find out the value of it? he is considering selling it, and I would like to offer him something for it, but want to find out the true value. Any help is appreciated....dano

Default RE: What would be the best way to get the value of a 63 Chrysler Wagon?

moe in wichita ks
i had a 63 new yorker wagon, duel air, 9 pass, rack on roof, it would GO down the road, many years ago. old cars mag should have some info if one has sold latly. it should have a name badge on the front fenders. a new yorker will have a 413 engine with a 4 barrel carb, 340 hp. a newport will have a 383 engine with a 2 barrel carb. the only way it will have a 383 4 barrel is if it was ordered specal that way. this is called a " c " body and for most if not all of the 60s they came only with big blocks, 361, 383, both low deck, 413, 440, tall blocks
