1998 Concorde LXI knocking & scraping sounds

I have a 1998 Concorde LXI. I was driving it and all of the sudden all the idiot lights came on and the car went dead and would not restart. I had the car towed to my house and I got it started. It now makes a knocking, sort of scraping/grinding noise. I checked all the fluids and they're fine. Before this happened, it would take a few tries to get the car to turn over, you would just get a clicking sound. I would hit the ignition about 3-4 times and the car would start. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

wow... sounds like you have a few things wrong... coincidence.. but the starter may be going out,.. and you may have a clogged oil line or something... check your oil pan and see if you hit something... that could be pushed up and touching the crank... that could be bad... if you bottomed out on a rock or something.. that could have actually messed it up pretty bad... Where is the sound coming from in the vehicle? and how many miles are on it?
