1999 Blower Resistor location
Hello,
I would like to replace the blower resistor in my 1999 Concord. Any idea where should I look for this resistor? I keep hearing "under the dash", but not sure where exactly. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Thanks for the quick reply - I already got a new resistor, so I will try to install it today and hope that would take care of the problem. The blower was working on high speed only and for a while, then a bunring smell and smoke came out and now it does not work at all.

then u will need a blower motor as well or u will be replacing the resistor again. If the resistor works for awhile and it does it again u will need both or keep replacing the resistor forever untill the motor is nuked all together

RE: 1999 Blower Resistor location
Chrysler Tech, I'm having a problem finding the resistor - I took the glove box out as well as the big plastic piece behind it. I've attached a pic that shows what's there. Could you please let me know if something else needs to be taken out in order to find the resister?
Thanks! |

Chrysler Tech -after some effort, I was able to find it, but I'm not sure how to take it out!! not much room in there to drive the screws out. Do you know what kind of screws they are and what is the best tool to use?
Thanks in advance. |
RE: 1999 Blower Resistor location
8mm or 1/4 inch phillips head screws they are screws with bolt heads
